Liquid Creations was founded in 2001 by Marcus Flack. He started the studio orginally simply with a passion to create. This has always been the driving force behind the dedication to the growth of the studio.
Growing within a highly creative family, Marcus always had a passion for graphic art. Orginally the studio was set up in Richmond renting some office space from a friend running a fashion label. These were heady and interresting days. Living on the smell of an oily rag, but always dedicated and knowing that the future held good things. Marcuse bought himself a video camera just prior to going on an overseas trip with his wife Annie. It was his intention that when he got back from his trip he would purchase whatever gear he would need in order to edit video.
'I still remeber my first cross fade,' Marcus says, 'I knew right at that moment that this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life'
From that moment, Marcus spent all of his spare time shooting videos for his own amusment and then for his friends. It was not long after that Marcus was offered a job teaching video production.
Marcus recalled - 'I was a landscape gardener at the time and having very bad back problems. I remember the phone call offering me the position; obviously the person had seen some of my work. It did not take me long to decide...it was a no brainer. Teaching was a fantastic way to develop my skills, and before long I was taking on clients in my spare time developing videos for them. I loved the challenge of working for myself, and decided that I would phase myself out of teaching and gradully work on my own business.'
So it was in 2001, Marcus registered Liquid Creations as a business and it has been growing steadily ever since. The studio is based in Heidelberg and has a growing team of staff.
