  • BRIEF
  • Liquid Creations was chosen as the production solution for our good friends Richard Gray, Frank Lotito & Matteo Bruno over at Valac Films for their TV SHOW pilot “Ask The Butcher.” The boys were looking for a 5D / 7D solution to shooting a TV series. We’ve been working with these cameras since they were invented so we had the game to play ball, if you know what i mean. We had 1 week to fly all around QLD and NSW to capture as much as we could about meat! From here the brief was to edit together a hot sizzle to show off how awesome the show would be if someone wants to air it.
  • SOLUTION
  • As we were just shooting a pilot for the show budget was tight. So Davie Dave Dave Jnr from Liquid was on camera and sound, with Dr Gray directing and monitoring sound, Franky Mouth on second camera and Matteo on special comments and research. We met up with Anthony the show’s host at Gold Coast airport and drove out to the hills to see how grain fed cattle weigh up next to grass fed.

Next day we were back on a jet plane off to Byron Bay to meet a man that treats his pigs like royalty. Based on the idea that the happier the pig the better the taste! Finishing off at Victor Churchill’s showroom in Sydney the shoot was a dazzling success. Tackling the edit was always going to be a buzz.

Liquid’s in-house genius Marcus came up with the idea to mix all of our bling footage with a heavy rock motif to give it guts (no pun intended). Fingers crossed the show gets up! Was awesome working with such an awesome crew and creative force! Look out for exciting Valac Films news on the horizon!
