BRIEF
Having written a nine-chapter short story, author and social commentator Mark Sayers asked us to recreate scenes from each chapter to give the appearance it had been made into film.
SOLUTION
Writer Mark Sayers approached us to help market his new book ‘ The Vertical Self’. The difference was that he would market his new book with a short story online released over a number of weeks. The story comprised of 9 chapters each with very unique happenings.We were really inspired by the work of a photographer named Gregory Crewdson based in the USA. His style is beautiful in it’s use of light but primarily he creates scenes that entice the viewer to question what is playing out in the scene.We took the same approach to the Bordertown project with some amazing results. It was so much fun coming up with crazy looks and stylistic approach. Check out the website here.
