- BRIEF
- This was an internal pet project of ours. We love Justin’s music, and him travelling to Australia for a tour seemed a great opportunity to do something creative with him.
- SOLUTION
- We contacted Justin and he told us he was meeting up with his violin maker in Melbourne. (Just up the road from us) We pitched the idea for the video and he and Paul Davies from Spur Violins loved it.
We rocked in packing serious canon heat. 4 cameras and lots of lenses to cover Justin doing one of his unique solo performances on his violin using nothing but that and a laptop. He builds a beautiful layered piece upon which he soars with stunning solo dexterity. We then inter cut shots of the violin maker creating the very instruments that Justin uses for the performance. Including a 5 string violin, and a regular violin with octave strings. This thing sounds like a cello. Incredible. Enjoy and indulge as we did.
