- Samaritan’s Purse Australia needed us to travel to Papua New Guinea and document the distribution of Christmas Gifts for kids in need.
- SOLUTION
- We shot this job entirely on Canon 5D mark II and a Canon 7D. The portability of these cameras was awesome in PNG as we had to be quick and nimble moving from location to location. The video follows shoe boxes that originally came from Sydney and Melbourne in Australia all the way to Papua New Guinea and a river to the village of Miri. Travelling down the jungle river to get to our destination was certainly a highlight from our trip. At one stage a fish actually jumped into the boat! No joking! The shoot ended with us cowering from the tropical rain and diving for cover under stilted shacks with our precious equipment.
