Stock Up For Hope – Charity Drove

BRIEF
Document a charity cattle drove in Outback Queensland and create a promotional video for future charity cattle droves.
SOLUTION
Shot entirely on location in outback Queensland, Liquid Creations was pumped to be able to document that iconic side of our beloved country. With beautiful expanses of land and connecting with a slower pace of life, this job was a pleasure to shoot. The Stock Up For Hope – Charity Drove is a simple concept: move cattle from point A to point B and get city-slickers and corporates to pay for the experience of being on a drove. At the end of the drove the cattle are sold at auction to raise the much needed funds for Chaplaincy in rural Queensland schools. We shot the job using a Sony EX3 and Canon 5D Mark2 which gave us intensely shallow depth of field. This combination of cameras equates to stunning results. The client loved what we shot so much that they are looking into us making a documentary about “The Drove”. Special thanks to Capacity Builders for another sterling event!
